Meet the Chef

Chef Jairus Raston

With over 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Jairus Raston is the founder and creative force behind Two Aprons, an immersive interactive cooking experience built to bring people together through food, creativity, and connection.

 

A graduate of Northwest Culinary Institute in Vancouver, Washington, Jairus developed his culinary foundation in high-volume resorts and stadiums, where he sharpened his discipline, execution, and ability to perform at scale without compromising quality.

 

Known for being a versatile chef with a creative approach to cuisine, Jairus has built his reputation on thoughtful technique, bold execution, and a commitment to using local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. His work has earned industry recognition as a finalist for Best Seafood and recipient of the 2013 Culinary Arts Award in Vancouver, Washington.

 

Through Two Aprons, Jairus now brings that experience into a more personal and engaging setting—offering hands-on cooking courses designed to educate, inspire, and create unforgettable culinary experiences for every guest
